Join The Community House as a Before & After School Mentor and make a meaningful impact on the lives of young learners. You'll lead the planning and execution of engaging activities for our Before and After the Bell program, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all participants. Your role will be pivotal in supervising and supporting program counselors, while collaborating closely with the Recreation Supervisor to craft enriching experiences that help children grow and thrive. Site Mentors will:
Experience in leading and supervising educational or recreational programs for children
Ability to maintain a safe and nurturing environment for participants
Proven track record of effectively communicating with children, parents, and staff
Strong organizational skills to manage day-to-day program activities and staff meetings
Ability to identify and address safety concerns promptly and effectively
Experience in administering medication and completing necessary documentation accurately
Ability to foster a positive working relationship with school staff and program counselors
