Job Summary (List Format):
- Build, configure, and maintain Epic Beaker (Clinical Pathology and/or Anatomic Pathology) to support laboratory workflows.
- Collaborate with pathologists, lab technologists, and clinicians to gather requirements and optimize system functionality.
- Support integration of Beaker with laboratory instruments, middleware, and other Epic applications.
- Troubleshoot issues, perform system maintenance, and provide end-user support.
- Participate in system implementations, upgrades, testing, and validation activities.
- Develop documentation, workflows, and training materials for clinical and IT staff.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., CAP, CLIA, HIPAA).
- Partner with project managers to deliver Epic-related initiatives on time and within scope.
- Utilize strong understanding of clinical laboratory workflows and compliance requirements.
- Leverage Epic Beaker certification (CP and AP) and experience with Beaker AP, instrument/middleware integration, and instrument configuration.
- Apply excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to daily responsibilities.
- Preferred: Experience as a medical technologist or Clinical Lab Scientist, prior Epic implementation/optimization, and additional Epic certifications.
