Dean Carter Chevrolet has a position available for a motivated and experienced Automotive BDC Representative to lead our dealership’s customer engagement and appointment-setting operations. This role is critical to driving showroom traffic, improving lead conversion, and delivering an outstanding customer experience across phone, text, email, and digital channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all inbound and outbound customer communications (calls, texts, emails, internet leads)
- Set, track, and improve appointment show rates and sales conversion
- Develop and enforce BDC scripts, processes, and best practices
- Monitor CRM activity to ensure timely and accurate follow-up
- Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Service Teams
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism and customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Previous BDC or Internet Sales management experience in automotive (required)
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
- Proven ability to drive results through process and accountability
- CRM experience (e.g., Elead, or similar)
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Positive attitude with a customer-first mindset
