Position: BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst)

Classification: 1099 Contractor (Non-Exempt)

Summary:

The primary function of the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is to plan, develop, and monitor a variety of behavioral support service delivery options to meet the needs of clients diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and/or other behavioral and social/communication challenges. The BCBA also consults with and teaches instructional team members regarding pro-active, educational programming, and behavioral supports; develops and implements comprehensive treatment plans; and collaborates with team members, related services providers, families, and other agencies as appropriate. The BCBA assists EIDBI clinics and provides ongoing training, observation, and direction to team members.

Expectations:

  • Oversee the full range of ABA treatment services including assessment, programming, progress monitoring, program modification, parent training, care coordination with other providers.
  • Ensures all standards of care are followed per state and insurance guidelines.
  • Provide clinical recommendations regarding treatment intensity, modality, and transition/ exit planning, in collaboration with parents and other team members, with the emphasis on delivering developmentally appropriate and socially valid client outcomes.
  • Evaluate and modify treatment based on Ainga quality standards.
  • Provide training and supervision to all levels of clinical staff to ensure high quality treatment services.
  • Supervise others with a focus on developing supervisees' independent clinical skills, problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills, and fulfillment of certification requirements.
  • Collaborate with other clinicians and cross functional team members.
  • Complete all administrative tasks in a timely fashion, including but not limited to generating reports, reviewing client data, and completing clinical documents.
  • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Attend staff / agency meetings.

Knowledge, Experience, and Key Competencies:

  • Experience working with adults, children, and families with mental health needs, including but not limited to trauma, anxiety, depression, ASD and other related conditions.
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral principles and strategies related to ABA.
  • Proficient in conducting functional behavior assessments and developing behavior intervention plans.
  • Competent in data collection and analysis skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, families, and team members.
  • Ability to adapt interventions based on individual needs and progress.
  • Professional and timely response with both verbal and non-verbal communications.
  • Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications.

Requirements:

  • Active BCBA Certification
  • Master's preferred. Bachelor's acceptable with Certification.
