POSITION: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

PAY RANGE: $75,000-87,000 depending on experience

LOCATION OF ASSIGNMENT: East Hampton Public Schools

ANTICIPATED STARTING DATE: September 2026

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:

This district-wide, 11-month position is responsible for managing multiple staff members and programmatic activities, with a primary focus on supporting the STARS School-Based Therapeutic Program and the RISE ABA Program. The role includes data collection and analysis, educational program design and evaluation, and the development and delivery of staff training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor student progress and collaborate with general education team members to support inclusive practices
  • Develop and write Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals tailored to student needs
  • Supervise and support paraeducators and interventionists to ensure delivery of effective academic, behavioral

and social interventions.

  • Provide clinical supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), develop and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs),

and perform Ecological Assessments and VB-MAPP evaluations.

  • Design, implement, and assess educational programs and behavior plans in alignment with student needs
  • Create and present professional development and training for educational staff
  • Perform other duties as needed to support the special education needs of students throughout the district
  • Oversee Interventionist and Paraeducators relative to students on caseload
  • Collaborate with regular General and Special Services staff and administrators
  • Establish and maintain frequent communication with parents of students on caseload

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Licensed BCBA in CT
  • Experience and knowledge regarding differentiated instruction and inclusive educational practices
  • Knowledge of IDEA and the PPT process
  • Oversee Interventionist and Paraeducators relative to students on caseload
  • Collaborate with regular Special Services staff and administrators
  • Establish and maintain frequent communication with parents of students on caseload
