    Job Description:

    Bloom BCS is looking for a dynamic, energetic, Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team!! The BCBA would work in a variety of settings, including home-based and school consultative cases.

    The BCBA is responsible for:

    • BCBA certified, displaying competence in curriculum and behavior analysis
    • Worked with children of varying age ranges, preferably experience with those with disabilities and Autism
    • Ability to report to supervisor or Director within 24 hours and coordinate/run bi-weekly case management reviews as necessary
    • Ability to organize data collection systems as necessary and as relevant to goals and objectives created in treatment plans
    • Ability to communicate with families, schools, and any other service provider professionally and relay information in timely manner
    • Respond in crisis situations as necessary and train others to do so as well
    • Create curriculum relevant to the treatment plan or IEP as it pertains to the individual
    • Write measurable, achievable treatment plans and objectives pertaining to the goals of each individual and their IEP and/or treatment plan and family
    • Lead group projects, supervision meetings and data reviews
    • Provide oversight and data collection systems and analysis for training and consultation purposes
    • Train new staff as necessary in the generalization of skills, program data collection and rapport building with each client
    • Create group and community trainings based on need and relevance to raise awareness and create network of community based resources
    • Expected to maintain average of 27-30 billable hours/week and attend unbillable meetings and/or trainings as needed, not to exceed average of 40-45 hours' work week
    • Maintain contracted hours for an average of 10 months/year, with employment dates between August 26-June 17thof each year. The period between June 18th and August 25th will be considered "off", with possible employment of 15-20 hours/week between July 1 and August 1 as agreed upon prior.

    Requirements

    • Must maintain a BCBA certification or equivalent
    • Master's degree
    • Prior supervisory experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis, including experience creating programming and data collection
    • Must provide documentation on passing state background check
    • Physically able to sit, stand, kneel, walk, run, bend, twist, move quickly and perform CPR

    License/Certification:

    • BCBA license (Required)

    Benefits

    PTO available in the form of 80 hours/year, in addition to time carried over from prior Paid Time Off (approximately 118 hours as of June 2024). Time off will be provided during all school vacations and holidays, with the exception of 4 scheduled trainings/year (planned ahead of time with management). The employee is able to accrue time off in the form of 2 hours/week for every week worked in full with the exception of call outs.
