We are seeking a dedicated and skilled BBQ Prep Cook to join our team in Rehoboth Beach, DE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and maintaining the BBQ station, ensuring all ingredients and tools are ready for efficient grilling and food preparation. You will work closely with the kitchen team to deliver high-quality BBQ dishes that delight our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare your BBQ station with the following essentials:
  • Grill 
  • Long-handled tongs, spatula, and grill brush
  • Oil for greasing grates
  • Thermometer for checking internal meat temperatures
  • Eco-friendly plates, utensils, and serving trays
  • Wire mesh or grill baskets for vegetables and delicate items
• Food Preparation:
  • Fully defrost frozen items
  •  Use citrus, garlic, and spice blends to enhance flavor and tenderness.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the BBQ station throughout the shift.
• Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are strictly followed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food preparation.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working with charcoal, gas, or electric grills.
• Knowledge of proper meat and seafood thawing and seasoning techniques.
• Ability to prepare vegetables and use marinades and rubs effectively.
• Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean work environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills
