    Traffic Enforcement Battery Technician -

    Location: Mt. Airy, MD, Fredrick, MD, Sykesville MD, New Market, MD, Westminster, MD
    Job Type: Full-Time

    We are seeking five high-energy, dependable Battery Technicians to join a fast-paced, high-growth traffic enforcement technology company. This position is responsible for installing, replacing, and maintaining batteries on automated traffic enforcement systems in the field. The ideal candidate is hardworking, self-motivated, safety-focused, and takes pride in accuracy and reliability.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Install, replace, and service batteries at designated mobile and fixed locations.
    • Perform basic electrical work, including wiring, testing, and troubleshooting electrical connections.
    • Prepare vehicles for deployment with 100% accuracy, ensuring all required equipment is present, properly mounted, and fully operational.
    • Follow all company safety procedures to maintain zero controllable work-related incidents or collisions.
    • Complete all required documentation thoroughly, accurately, and on time in accordance with company policy.
    • Communicate professionally and effectively with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams in the field.
    • Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Maintain a clean driving record.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

    • Must be 21 years of age or older (corporate insurance requirement).
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience servicing traffic enforcement technology or a related technical field.
    • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
    • Willingness to undergo pre- and post-employment drug testing.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently, responsibly, and safely.
    • Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver 50–75 lbs regularly.
    • Comfortable performing fieldwork in outdoor environments and confined or cramped spaces.
    • Experience using hand and power tools preferred.
    • Ambitious, reliable, and strong work ethic.

    Work Environment

    • Outdoor fieldwork with regular exposure to weather elements.
    • Physical job requirements including bending, lifting, and operating tools.
