This position is with an independently owned and operated AFC franchise location. Job duties and benefits may vary between franchise locations.

Job Summary
The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to assist providers in the evaluation and treatment of injuries and illnesses. This role also supports administrative and clinical functions, including front desk and medical assisting duties, as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and clearly explain imaging procedures in a professional and compassionate manner
  • Accurately position patients for radiographic procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety
  • Follow ALARA principles and other radiation safety protocols
  • Process and review images for clarity, proper identification, and quality assurance
  • Operate both digital and analog imaging equipment in accordance with established protocols and safety standards
  • Assist providers with patient care and treatments when necessary
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and arrange for service when required
  • Complete necessary documentation, including imaging logs, reports, and patient records
  • Provide support as a Medical Receptionist or Medical Assistant when needed, within scope of training
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • ARRT registration or board eligibility preferred
  • Current state licensure in radiologic technology (as required by state regulations)

Compensation: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
