ECS seeks a Basic Cost Analyst to support the Missile Defense Agency in Dahlgren, VA.

The successful candidate will:

  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors on assigned projects and activities.
  • Deliver high-quality analytical products with a strong emphasis on accuracy, thoroughness, and timeliness.
  • Develop a deeper understanding of the organization while strengthening core analytical skills.
  • Assist with cost estimating and cost analysis efforts under general supervision.
  • Support sensitivity, risk, and uncertainty analysis activities.
  • Follow established procedures and coordinate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Apply foundational analytical and statistical techniques to solve routine cost analysis challenges.

You will also be asked to:

  • Prepare and provide Analyses of Alternatives, Business Case Analyses, and mid-term and far-term architecture planning studies.
  • Analyze Contract Performance Reports (CPRs) and Cost and Software Data Reports (CSDRs) formerly CCDRs and incorporate data into cost estimates.
  • Develop Cost Models and articulate results both in written form and verbally.
  • Conduct Cost Research Studies.
  • Conduct budget analysis and budget formulation.
