BAS Controls Project Engineer (grow to become a Project Manager) - San Francisco, CA

This is for a stable, reputable, and large Mechanical company that has a leading Building Automation division with multiple BAS product-lines. The branch operates in the Bay Area: San Jose to Napa and far east as Tracy.

They would like to hire someone that has drive to become an experienced Controls Project Manager and mesh with the company’s culture and team. 

POSITION:

• Project Engineer – BAS Controls (career path to become a Project Manager)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with a Sr. Controls Project Manager
• Review / Track Submittals
• Generate RFIs (Request for Information)
• Communicate with Customers
• Participate in creating Change Orders
• Review Contract Drawings
• Review DDC Shop Drawings 
• Opportunity to move into Project Management (depending upon candidate)
  • Small job project management
