BAS Controls Specialist (Mid & Senior Level) in Ashburn, VA.

Responsibilities:
- Commission, test, and troubleshoot BAS controllers, including Tridium/Niagara systems.
- Refine, rewrite, and optimize sequences of operation to improve system efficiency.
- Service and support both proprietary and open building automation platforms.
- Perform point-to-point device checkout, system verification, and functional testing.
- Integrate multiple protocols, including BACnet, Modbus, and TCP/IP.
- Install and configure DDC controllers, sensors, relays, and control panels.
- Fabricate, assemble, and wire low-voltage control cabinets.
- Accurately terminate and label low-voltage cabling.
- Calibrate actuators, temperature sensors, and field devices for reliable performance.
- Commission systems and maintain thorough daily test documentation.
Ideal Candidate:
- Hands-on experience as a BAS Technician, Specialist, or equivalent position.
- Strong skills in troubleshooting, field commissioning, and system diagnostics.
- Familiarity with various BAS platforms; Tridium Niagara experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently or within a cross-disciplinary project team.
- Strong communication, technical aptitude, and problem-solving abilities.
