BAS Applications Engineer in the greater St. Louis area.
This role is ideal for a controls engineering professional who enjoys designing, developing,
and supporting innovative BAS solutions while working closely with project managers, engineers, and field technicians.
Position Details:
- Title: BAS Applications Engineer
- Location: St. Louis, MO (Earth City area)
- Compensation: $90,000 – $120,000 (DOE) + Bonus
- Schedule: Flexible start window (7 AM – 9 AM)
- Travel: Occasional local site visits

Responsibilities:
- Design and engineer BAS systems for both new construction and retrofit projects.
- Review HVAC drawings, mechanical specifications, and sequences of operation.
- Prepare detailed submittals including control diagrams, schematics, equipment selections,
valve and damper schedules, and programming logic.
- Provide technical support, engineering documentation, and product research.
- Assist with BAS integration and ensure all work aligns with design intent and industry standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and consulting engineers throughout the design process.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects while monitoring deadlines, budgets, and deliverables.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience as a BAS Applications Engineer or in a related BAS engineering role.
- Strong understanding of HVAC fundamentals and control system design.
- Hands-on background with BAS platforms such as Distech, Trane, or Honeywell.
- Skilled in reading and interpreting drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management abilities.
