A well-established Data Center and Building Automation contractor is seeking an experienced
BAS Application Engineer (Mid & Senior Level) in Waco, TX.
This position focuses on programming, integrating, and commissioning BAS systems across mission-critical and commercial environments.

Position Details:
- Title: BAS Application Engineer (Mid & Sr. Level)
- Location: Waco, TX
- Compensation: $100K–$160K (DOE) + ~20% Bonus

Responsibilities:
- Develop and program BAS controllers, logic blocks, and detailed sequences of operation.
- Prepare BMS submittals, as-built documentation, and control system drawings.
- Configure and integrate communication protocols including BACnet, Modbus, and TCP/IP.
- Provide remote technical support to project managers and field engineering staff.
- Commission programs, conduct functional testing, and confirm system performance.
- Utilize and enforce standardized engineering and programming methodologies.
- Coordinate BAS integration efforts with HVAC, MEP, and IT project teams.
- Troubleshoot BAS networks, servers, controllers, and IoT-based devices.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience as a BAS Application Engineer, Controls Technician, or similar technical role.
- Strong skill set in BAS programming, system start-up, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with multiple BAS platforms; Tridium Niagara proficiency is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
