EMPLOYEE OWNER POSITION PURPOSE:
The Bartender is responsible for mixing and serving alcoholic/nonalcoholic drinks to patrons of the bar while delivering an exceptional customer experience. This position is a key member of our team and performs a variety of tasks in a warm and welcoming country club setting.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Demonstrate a strong commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and a positive attitude while serving the needs of our guests
Set up and maintain clean conditions at the bar, bar unit, tables, and related areas
Stock ice, glassware, liquor, beer, wine, and paper supplies
Prepare fresh garnishes and drink orders for guests according to specified recipes (using measuring systems)
Regularly observe and check-in with guests to respond to their needs
Prepare accurate checks for guests and process payments (note – patrons at the bar must have a current tab/receipt in front of them at all times)
Complete closing procedures, including preparing daily receipt and cash drop
Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas
Abide by and enforce strict health and safety standards, including those established by the state
Other duties and special projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Current Food Handler Card
Current Responsible Alcohol Awareness Safety Certificate (T.I.P.S., L.E.A.D.)
High School Diploma (or equivalent)
Familiarity with country club/hotel/high-end operations
Conflict resolution skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Must be a team player who is committed to delivering high-level customer service
Adaptable and dependable with a solid attendance record
Professional and respectful demeanor with all staff and guests at all times
Ability to work independently and follow instructions with minimal supervision
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Use standard office equipment, including: computer, phone, copier/scanner, etc.
Use standard bar equipment and supplies, including: appliances, tools, and food/beverages
Be stationary or in motion for periods of time (often in motion)
Relocate up to (25) pounds

Our Café’s hours range from 12:00pm until 9:00pm Monday-Sunday, this doesn’t include prep-time and closing time.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. Hours will vary based on business needs.
