Position Summary:

A seasonal Bartender plays a key role in creating an outstanding guest experience by providing friendly, efficient, and professional food and beverage service during home games and other designated events. The Bartender is responsible for the service of all beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Must be personable, professional, and able to work in an ever-changing fast-paced environment. Bartenders work closely with culinary and event staff to ensure smooth service throughout each event, adapting quickly to changing guest needs while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. They are responsible for keeping assigned service areas clean, organized, and fully stocked, following all food safety and responsible alcohol service standards. At the conclusion of each event, they assist with cleaning, inventory, resetting, and preparing service areas for future use. Through exceptional teamwork, attention to detail, and a guest-first attitude, Bartenders help create a memorable event experience that reflects the high standards of the venue.

 

This role pays an hourly rate of $10.00 - $14.00 and is tip eligible.

 

This is a seasonal role from November 3, 2026, and will end on January 31, 2027.

 

This position will remain open until January 31, 2027.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate the ability to meet the company standard for excellence in the areas of guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards.
• Follow the bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described.
• Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures for serving alcoholic drinks, including state/federal regulations pertaining to the distribution of alcohol.
• Responsible for learning or having knowledge of various beer, wine varieties & spirits available and being able to learn to suggestively upsell products to guests.
• Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size.
• Check the guest's ID in accordance with state/federal regulations to verify the minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcoholic beverages.
• Communicate a cut-off to a guest as required.
• Listening and responding to any customer requests or concerns.
• Bartenders are expected to de-escalate intoxicated guest situations. If a guest becomes confrontational, belligerent, or uses extreme profanity, the bartender may contact management or security as required.
• Contact a management member if unable to resolve or make a decision beyond the scope of standard decision-making.
• Request additional products or restock products as needed.
• Responsible for the issued bank at the bar.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation at all times. Ensures that bar equipment is clean and well maintained.
• Other duties as assigned may include setting up and breaking down bar equipment as required and assisting with the organization of the cooler.

Qualifications:

• Six months or more experience bartending.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old (per Utah state law for alcohol service).
• Bartending school preferred.
• Accurate cash handling skills are required.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and long hours.
