Lakewood Yacht Club is seeking a professional, service-driven Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service across multiple service areas, including the main bar, banquet events, and outdoor pool bar. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, maintains high service standards, and creates a welcoming, member-focused experience.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with club standardsProvide attentive, friendly, and professional service to members and guestsOperate efficiently across multiple service areas, including main bar, banquet bar, and pool barMaintain full knowledge of drink menus, classic cocktails, wine, and beer offeringsEnsure bars are properly stocked, organized, and clean at all timesSet up and break down bar areas for daily service and special eventsFollow all TABC and safety regulations regarding alcohol serviceAccurately handle tabs, and POS transactionsAssist with wine service and large-scale banquet functions as neededWork closely with management and team members to ensure smooth service flowMonitor guest consumption and promote responsible alcohol serviceQualificationsPrevious bartending experience required (private club or high-volume environment preferred)Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and beerExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environmentPositive attitude and team-oriented mindsetMust be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidaysTABC certification required (or ability to obtain prior to employment)Physical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 40 lbsAbility to work both indoor and outdoor environments, including heat at the pool bar
