    Description

    The Weekend Bartender will shape the guest experience through excellent service, product knowledge, and engaging hospitality. Your ability to craft beverages, manage bar operations, and create a welcoming atmosphere directly impacts guest satisfaction, food and beverage revenue, and brand reputation. Whether serving solo or supporting a team, your presence at the bar influences the energy and pace of service across the outlet.

    HOW YOU’LL SHAPE THE EXPERIENCE & FUTURE

    • Prepare cocktails and mixed drinks by combining liquor, mixers, bitters, and other ingredients according to recipes and guest requests.
    • Serve wine, draft and bottled beer, non-alcoholic beverages, and food in a timely and professional manner.
    • Process guest payments and accurately collect and reconcile cash and other forms of payment.
    • Order, requisition, stock, and replenish liquor, beverages, mixers, glassware, garnishes, and guest supplies.
    • Maintain an organized and visually appealing bar by arranging bottled goods, glassware, and displays.
    • Clean and sanitize glassware, bar surfaces, and equipment to maintain health and safety standards.
    • Prepare garnishes and bar accompaniments, including slicing fruit and assembling items such as pickles, cheeses, and cold meats.
    • Greet guests promptly with a friendly, welcoming demeanor and provide attentive service throughout their experience.
    • When serving in a lead role, oversee assigned associates, delegate work, and ensure responsibilities are completed in the Supervisor's absence.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

    • Previous bartending experience in a hotel, bar, or restaurant environment preferred
    • Experience with cash handling, POS systems, and bar setup/teardown
    • Familiarity with food pairing and cross-selling techniques considered a plus
    • Capable of working independently or as part of a larger service team

    ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • TIPS certification or equivalent required
    • Must meet all state and local age requirements for serving alcohol
