The Fine Dining Bartender supports smooth restaurant operations through professionalism, accuracy, and strong communication with both front‑ and back‑of‑house teams.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Two or more years of bartending experience required, with at least one year in a fine‑dining or upscale environment strongly preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of spirits, wine, mixology, and beverage preparation techniques.
- Strong communication and guest service skills with the ability to maintain a polished and professional demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain any required state gaming, alcohol service, or regulatory licenses
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift or carry up to 40 pounds including cases of product, kegs, and bar supplies.
- Ability to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting, and guest activity.
- Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.
- Compliance with all company policies, sanitation standards, responsible alcohol service laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and serve handcrafted cocktails, wine, and specialty beverages according to fine‑dining recipes, presentation standards, and guest preferences.
- Provide warm, polished, and knowledgeable service while engaging guests with confidence and professionalism.
- Maintain expert‑level knowledge of spirits, wine varietals, cocktail techniques, and menu pairings to guide guest selections.
- Ensure the bar is fully stocked, organized, and visually appealing throughout the shift.
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow all responsible service guidelines.
- Maintain accurate cash‑handling procedures and process transactions through the POS system.
- Collaborate closely with servers, food runners, and culinary staff to ensure seamless service flow.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar, tools, glassware, and surrounding areas in accordance with Health Department and company standards.
- Assist with inventory counts, product rotation, and ordering needs.
- Support opening and closing procedures including setup, breakdown, and documentation.
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Perform additional duties or special assignments as required
