Il Fornaio Cucina Italiana is currently interviewing for a knowledgeable, experienced, service-oriented Bartender. Experience in a similar environment is required. As a bartender, you'll wow our guests with outstanding service and hospitality. Our successful bartender will be gracious, friendly and be able to multitask in a high volume environment while focusing on exceeding guest expectations. 1 year of pervious full service bartender experience is required.What we're looking for:Ability to make guest recommendations through knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine, beer and a la carte food service Serving full menu and bar including wine and specialty cocktails.Delivering drinks and food correctly and efficiently Closing out checks and reconciling cash in a timely fashionAdhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines while maintaining a positive teamwork attitudeCommunicating clearly, professionally, and respectfully Monitoring guest satisfactionHaving a flexible work schedule including weekend availabilityFull bar service including wine, beer, specialty cocktails and espresso drinksPrepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with Il Fornaio standard drink recipes.Assume responsibility for the quality of guests' experience.Maintains a Guest focus while performing duties.Adhere to food safety standards and proceduresPrior experience as Bartender, Mixologist, or bar back is very helpful in being successful at this job.RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) Certificate required in CA locations within 60 days of hire.Foodhandler Card within 30 days from hire.What we offer:Flexible schedulingExcellent training programHealth benefits including medical, dental and visionCareer growth opportunities
