Help Conditions of employment This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results. This position requires the incumbent to be 21 years of age. This position requires the incumbent to complete a pre-employment physical. This position requires the incumbent to able to obtain a Food Handlers Certificate and/or complete food handlers training. This position requires the incumbent to provide a copy of driving record. This position requires the incumbent to work an uncommon tour of duty.

In order to qualify you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience including volunteer work done through National Service programs e.g. Peace Corps AmeriCorps and other organizations e.g. professional philanthropic religious spiritual community student social. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience if the position allows for qualifying based on education your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience Must have experience serving alcoholic beverages. Must be able to recognize intoxicated or unruly patrons and to resolve the problem or seek assistance if needed. Must be able to follow cash handling procedures. Must be skilled in doing tasks with several steps and must use judgment in sequencing tasks. Must be able to follow simple oral instructions. Must be physically able to frequently lift 40 pounds or more. Must be able to obtain a Food Handlers Certificate and/or complete food handlers training. Must have the ability to operate a motor vehicle in a safe manner. Must be able to communicate clearly with customers and possess skill in dealing with the public.
Successful completion of a Tier one investigation is required. Position is subject to furlough from approximately I November to 31 March of each year due to business slowdown caused by weather.
Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution. FOREIGN EDUCATION Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. Additional information Individual must fully meet qualification eligibility background requirements for this position. U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. Territory for three 3 or more consecutive years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation or a signed memorandum indicating the installations decision on the 3-year residency requirement.
