Position Overview:
We're hiring on behalf of one of our valued clients seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Bartender to join their team. If you know how to create great drinks, connect with guests, and keep the energy high, this is a great opportunity to shine.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers.
- Take drink and food orders, making recommendations as needed - especially on signature cocktails.
- Engage with customers in a professional and friendly manner, enhancing their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including bar tools, equipment, and glassware.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene standards.
- Monitor bar inventory and communicate shortages or restock needs.
- Manage transactions and handle cash/credit payments.
- Ensure the bar complies with local, state, and federal laws regarding alcohol service.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of bartending experience, preferably in an upscale or high-volume setting.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
- Knowledge of state alcohol laws and regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle high-volume situations.
- Friendly, customer-focused attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
