Barista

This position primarily functions as a Breakfast Server, responsible for providing friendly and attentive service to hotel guests during breakfast hours. Responsibilities include setting up and maintaining the breakfast area, greeting guests, assisting with food and beverage service, replenishing items, and ensuring the dining area remains clean and presentable throughout service. The role requires a guest-focused individual who can work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment while maintaining the hotel's service standards. Scheduled shifts are 5:30 AM-12:00 PM Monday through Friday and 6:00 AM-12:30 PM on Saturdays and Sundays, based on operational needs. Weekend availability is required, and the position focuses primarily on delivering a positive breakfast experience for hotel guests.

• Act with integrity, honesty and competence-promoting the culture, values and mission of the property
• Deliver legendary customer service by having a customer-comes-first attitude-connecting with the customer, discovering the customer's needs, and responding to those needs.
• Contribute to a positive environment by recognizing changes in coworkers' morale and performance and communicating those changes to the supervisor or manager
• Assist with the training of new team members
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace so that coworkers can locate resources and products.
• Maintain calm demeanor during periods of high volume or during unusual events to continue operational standards and to set a positive example for the store's team.
• Follow all cash management policies
• Adhere to all recipe and presentation standards
• Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products
• Continually reviews the store's environment to identify problems, concerns and opportunities

What are the requirements for this position?

• You must be at least 18 years old
• You have a high school diploma or equivalent
• You have strong customer service in retail and/or hospitality knowledge
• You have strong problem solving and organizational skills
• You learn quickly, build relationships, and communicate effectively

Physical Requirements for this Position

This can be a physically demanding position. You must be comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods of time.

Travel Requirements

This position will require little to no travel outside the property and surrounding areas.
