Barista

Overview:

Elevate the beverage experience at Louma bakery as a Specialty Coffee Barista. We are seeking a versatile and skilled individual craft exceptional coffee, matcha and tea beverages. This position is a unique opportunity to contribute to the diverse and high-quality beverage offerings in our artisanal bakery.

Responsibilities:

Coffee & Espresso Crafting

• Prepare a variety of specialty coffee beverages, including espresso-based drinks, pour-overs, and signature creations. Dial in espresso multiple times a day.
  
• Maintain consistently high standards of coffee quality, flavor, and presentation.
  

Matcha and Tea Preparation

• Prepare matcha, hojicha, and herbal teas.
  
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene in the matcha preparation area.
  

Customer Service

• Deliver friendly, personalized service while taking and fulfilling beverage orders.
  
• Share knowledge about coffee origins, brewing methods, and juice offerings to enhance the customer experience.
  

Cleanliness & Organization

• Keep coffee and juice preparation areas clean, organized, and well-stocked.
  
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards when handling beverages and equipment.
  

• Minimum 2 year of barista experience, with hands-on experience in specialty coffee preparation.
  
• Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, including espresso extraction and pour-over methods.
  
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  
• Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
