Lancaster General Hospital is seeking an experienced Barista to prepare and serve espresso beverages, coffee drinks, and food items while providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Location

Lancaster General Hospital

555 N. Duke Street, Lancaster, PA

Schedule

• Varied shifts between 6:00 AM and 9:00 PM
• Every other weekend and holiday required

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso beverages and specialty coffee drinks using established recipes and standards.
• Serve customers efficiently and professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and service areas.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines.
• Restock beverages, condiments, and supplies.
• Accurately explain menu items and assist customers with selections.
• Process transactions using POS systems, cash, and credit card payments.
• Ensure food and beverage displays are clean, organized, and visually appealing.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of food and beverage experience.
• At least 1 year of Barista experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment.
• Ability to perform repetitive work while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
