Major Responsibilities:
The Barista Attendant is an ambassador of Advocate Sherman Hospital providing exemplary customer service and customer interaction. Specific daily assigned tasks are also to be executed as set forth.
Produce Starbucks coffee program and set up for the day. Open the coffee shop per service. Attend to customers needs and ring up sales. Ensure all beverages are compliant with the Starbucks branded program following all recipes and standards while maintaining the integrity of the Starbucks program.
Restock condiment and beverage areas. Wipes tables and chairs as needed to keep up seating area appearance.
Maintain register area at all peak times providing exemplary customer service
Clean and maintain Equipment, Counters, Storerooms, Bread & toaster area & Beverage area
Restock areas condiments, beverage coolers, grab & go cooler, paper goods etc. as needed throughout the day.
Count closing bank and deposit into the safe with Supervisor Barista. Adheres to all Cash Policies and requirements and signs all necessary paperwork. Overages and underages are communicated and are kept to a minimum as per cash policy. Prepare cash drawer for next day. Follow opening drawer guidelines.
Ensure proper hand off and complete assigned cleaning tasks.
Maintain production records including holding temperatures, final cooking temperatures, end of service temperatures, and counts
Ensure all products are properly labeled and dated upholding operational standards
Dust ledges and shelves to uphold quality presentation of coffee shop at all times
Education/Experience Required:
High School Education or equivalent.
