Barista

PAY RANGE: $10.75 - $12.25, depending on experience

STATUS: Part-Time, Non-Exempt

Responsible for performing routine duties necessary to keep Roll Sens Cafe operating during operational times. Completing all duties listed below. Strive for 100 percent guest satisfaction.

PRIMARY ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

This is an overview of essential duties a more comprehensive list of expectations and responsibilities will be provided at interview

• Prepare and serve specialty coffee and espresso beverages (lattes, cappuccinos, cold brew, etc.) to established recipes
• Recommend menu items and answer questions about beverages and baked goods
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including workstations, equipment, and seating areas
• Restock ingredients, baked goods, and supplies as needed
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist with opening and closing duties

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent (current college students encouraged to apply)
• Previous food service or coffee experience preferred, but not required (training provided)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Basic math and cash-handling skills
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
