Barista

Position Summary 

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee, enjoys creating meaningful guest experiences, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Baristas are responsible for preparing high-quality beverages and food items, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and providing exceptional service to every guest. 

Essential Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere
• Take orders accurately and efficiently 
• Build relationships with regular customers and contribute to a positive cafe culture

Beverage & Food Preparation 

• Prepare espresso-based beverages, brewed coffee, tea, and specialty drinks according to company standards 
• Prepare and serve food items while following food safety guidelines 
• Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all products 
• Monitor product freshness and communicate inventory needs 

Operations 

• Operate point-of-sale
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and daily cash procedures 
• Assist with opening and closing duties 
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department requirements
