Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and outgoing Barista to join our bakery, Beverly Hills Cookies! In this role, you will welcome customers into the cookie/coffee shop and prepare their orders. Your goal is to ensure customers enjoy their experience at our shop. The ideal candidate is passionate about cookies& coffee and is willing to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.

We are looking for someone who:

• has a bubbly, positive and outgoing personality
• works well in a fast-paced environment 
• is available to work evening shifts and weekends (required)
• has barista experience (preferred, but we're willing to train the right candidate with a great attitude)
• loves providing exceptional customer service
• is reliable, punctual, and a strong team player 

Responsibilities: 

• Welcome customers into the  shop with a smile
• Take food and beverage orders
• Explain the menu items to customers
• Create a variety of espresso-based drinks, from basic to more complex
• Enter orders into the POS system with accuracy and efficiency
• Bus tables and wipe down surfaces
• Maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications: 

• Familiarity with food safety guidelines
• ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification or ability to obtain shortly after hiring
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods
