Job Summary:

Care New England is seeking a full time Bariatric Surgical Physician Assistant to join our robust Bariatric team at Kent and Women & Infants Hospitals. This provider will be an integral part of the department that is built on the premise of collaborative, team-oriented providers with intersecting skills and interests that include providing quality medical care.

  • Schedule: Full-time Monday-Friday daytime work
  • Job responsibilities include:
    • OR 1stassist in bariatric and general cases
    • Inpatient management
    • Outpatient clinic
  • Work alongside experienced, reputable, collegial group of physicians and advanced practice providers (APP)
  • Regular mentorship and collaboration amongst providers
  • EPIC implemented system wide
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Certified by NCCPA.
  • Active Rhode Island PA, CSR, and DEA license or eligible.
  • 1+ prior surgical experience required, knowledge of robotic bariatric surgery preferred
