Job Title: Inland Marine Barge Supervisor Reports To: Superintendent Summary: Barge Supervisors are responsible for all Inland Marine aspects of operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, planning work, determining techniques to be used, supervising and training crew personnel. Education/Experience:
Supervisory Responsibilities: Barge Supervisors may directly supervise 15-20 employees on the Barge and/or other remote locations and carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include mentoring employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing.
Physical Demands: The employee must frequently lift, move and/or carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell. Barge Supervisors must be willing to comply with PCM Health, Safety, and Environmental rules and regulations, as well as all local, state and governmental regulations.
