This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll oversee marine construction projects in an outdoor environment. Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate barge-based crews during dock and boat lift construction, installation, and repair projects
- Operate and oversee barge equipment and marine construction tools safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret project plan specifications for dock and boat lift installations
- Ensure all work is completed on schedule, within scope, and meets quality standards
- Enforce jobsite safety protocols and OSHA/marine safety regulations at all times
- Communicate daily progress, issues, and needs to project managers and ownership
- Coordinate material deliveries, equipment staging, and crew scheduling on the water
Requirements:- Proven experience as a foreman or lead in marine construction, dock building, or boat lift installation
- Hands-on experience operating barges and marine construction equipment
- Strong knowledge of dock systems, boat lift mechanisms, and waterfront structures
- Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a crew in a physically demanding, outdoor environment
- Solid understanding of marine safety regulations and jobsite safety practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing conditions on the water
- Valid driver's license required
