We are looking for an ENTHUSIASTIC Barback to provide an excellent support services at our beachfront restaurant. Great barbacks will be passionate about working as part of a team to deliver excellent drinks and service to customers. Compensation includes hourly wage plus tips. Our 2025 season runs from May-October.
Responsibilities
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktail batches
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies and ensuring bartenders are setup for success.
- Checking taps and appliances to confirm they are working properly, making minor repairs, or changing out kegs, if needed.
- Keeping the bar clean by wiping down surfaces, sweeping, mopping, removing soiled glassware, scrubbing coolers and storage areas and emptying trash/recycling receptacles.
- Assisting with checking in, counting and putting away glassware/beverage orders.
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Skills
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Ability to meet physical demands of the position, including walking, standing or lifting heavy items for extended periods including working nights, weekends and holidays.
