    ROLE SUMMARY:

    The Barback will provide personalized and immaculate guest service and an elegant dining experience by anticipating and providing for all guest needs/requests. They will be responsible for making sure the bar is fully stocked, cutting garnishes, and clearing away and washing all glassware. We ask for a willingness to receive and offer direction, be solutions oriented, and encourage a hospitality driven environment. Open availability is preferred.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assist bartenders in preparing and serving drinks.
    • Ensure that all supplies are stocked and readily available.
    • Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping down counters and tables, cleaning glassware and utensils.
    • Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down the bar area.
    • Provide excellent customer service to guests.
    • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
    • Perform other tasks as assigned.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • A Valid CA Certified Food Handlers card and valid Responsible Beverage Service Training is required.
    • Must be 21+ years of age.
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
    • Previous relevant experience in a high-end, high-volume restaurant is preferred.
    • Must be able to stand during entire shift, often up to 8 hours with frequent bending, squatting, and lifting plates, boxes, and objects up to 30lbs.
    • Must have excellent time management skills.
    • Must be able to maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
    • Must be reliable, responsible, and trustworthy.
    • Must have high energy, great communication skills, and be able to work as part of a team.
    • Must have attention to detail and willingness to deliver exceptional customer service.
