    We're looking for a reliable, hardworking Barback to join our team!  This role will have working product knowledge and maintain proper product parts through bar pulls and inventories.

    Location:  The Nash Casino - 310 Daniel Webster Highway - Nashua, NH
    Hours:  Full-time/Part-time:  Variable open shifts (1st shift/swing swift/late night shift) with availability to work weekends and holidays

    Job Responsibilities

    • Maintain a clean and well-organized bar. 
    • Stock liquor, beer, ice, wine, and glassware throughout the shift. 
    • Properly labeling, dating, covering, and refrigerating prepped items in the bar. 
    • Performs opening, closing and side duties, setting up/breaking down the bar, cleaning glass/countertops, sweeping the floor, etc. 
    • Rotates product to maintain freshness. 
    • Put away liquor/beer orders, as necessary. 
    • Preparing fruit and other garnish and making scratch recipes if applicable. 
    • Assists with food delivery, and pre-bussing as necessary based on shift assignment.  
    • Assist with training/mentoring of new Team Members as requested. 
    Education and Minimum Requirements 
    • High school diploma or general equivalent diploma (GED) preferred. 
    • Internal candidates must have been in their current position for at least six months and have had no active disciplinary action during the last six months. 
    • Must be able to complete and pass all alcohol awareness and training and obtain certificates, and all other food alcohol & food safety training as required by The Nash. 
    • Must be 21 years of age or older. 
    • Must pass all required background checks. 

    Physical/Mental Working Demands 

    • Must be able to move in and around the work area throughout the entire workday. 
    • Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time. 
    • Must be able to answer all inquiries and provide assistance and information in a professional and accurate manner. 
    • Must be able to access and interpret information on computer screens. 
    • Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, twist, balance, and work at a bar; to include ability to tolerate changes in temperature, frequent immersion of hands in water, cleaning, and sanitizing solutions. 
    • Must be able to work in an environment where smoking is permitted, and it can be loud with guest chatter, overhead music, and live entertainment. 
    • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and respond to visual and aural cues. 
    • Must possess the manual dexterity to operate the following equipment: 
      • Point of sale, glasswasher, mixing utensils and other bar related equipment. 
    • Requires the ability to distinguish letters or symbols and eye hand coordination.
