    Job Summary
    We are looking for an experienced and organized Bar Manager to join our team at the Buffalo Bodega! You will supervise bar staff, manage inventory, control costs, and maintain high standards of customer service and safety. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, a deep knowledge of mixology, and a track record of running an efficient, profitable bar.
    Key Responsibilities
    • Staff Management:Hire, train and schedule bartenders, barbacks, and support staff to ensure proper shift coverage. Provide ongoing coaching, performance reviews, and conflict resolution.
    • Inventory & Ordering: Monitor stock levels of beer, wine, liquor, and supplies. Place orders with vendors, build strong supplier relationships, and conduct regular physical inventory counts.
    • Menu Development: Design creative drink menus, establish standard drink recipes, and price cocktails to maintain target profit margins.
    • Operations & Compliance: Ensure the bar complies with all local, state, and federal laws regarding alcohol service (such as Responsible Beverage Service) and health and sanitation guidelines.
    • Financial Oversight: Track daily sales, manage labor costs and budgets, handle cash reconciliation, and reduce product waste.
    • Guest Relations: Maintain a safe, welcoming atmosphere, handle customer feedback or complaints, and manage difficult patron situations calmly.

    Miminum of 3 years experience, ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, and ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50lbs. This position has the potential for excellent tips and is a very fun environment! Wage is DOE.
