We are seeking a talented  Banquet  chef to join us in  South Philadelphia. This role is perfect for a passionate culinary professional who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment and has a strong background in banquet operations. If you have a proven track record in managing high-volume banquet sales, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all kitchen operations for banquet services, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation.
• Manage and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment.
• Develop and execute banquet menus that exceed guest expectations while adhering to budgetary guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all kitchen operations.
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain seamless kitchen operations.
• Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service during events.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen space, implementing best practices for sanitation and safety.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a kitchen management role, specifically in banquet operations.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse culinary team.
• Proficient in menu development and cost control.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
