Schedule: Various Shifts AvailableJob DescriptionIMKO Workforce Solutions is seeking dependable, energetic, and hardworking individuals for Banquet Setup & Server positions in Columbia, MO!We are looking for team players who enjoy working in a fast-paced hospitality environment and providing excellent customer service. This position involves preparing event spaces, assisting with banquet service, and ensuring guests have a positive experience.Job Responsibilities
- Set up tables, chairs, linens, and event equipment according to banquet specifications.
- Prepare dining and event areas for meetings, banquets, and special events.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Clear tables, remove dishes, and maintain clean dining areas throughout events.
- Refill beverages and assist guests with requests.
- Assist with buffet setup, replenishment, and breakdown.
- Break down event spaces and return furniture and equipment to designated areas.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines.
- Work closely with banquet staff and supervisors to ensure smooth event operations.
- Perform additional hospitality duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous banquet, serving, catering, or hospitality experience preferred, but not required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Dependable with strong attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move tables, chairs, and event supplies as needed.
- Flexibility to work various shifts based on event schedules.
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.
