The Banquet Food Server is responsible for serving guests food and beverages in a positive and timely manner, while collaborating with staff to ensure a smooth event.
Duties:
Provide friendly and accurate service throughout the event.
Inspect the banquet rooms prior to events to ensure they align with the banquet event order.
Assist Captains in getting the room count to the Banquet kitchen.
Maintain knowledge of Peppermill amenities, particularly with public space facilities.
Ensure Banquet rooms and storage areas are kept clean and organized.
Report low supply inventories to management.
Report any maintenance, cleaning and repair needs to management.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Two or more years of food serving experience.
Knowledgeable of food, wine and fine dining etiquette.
Must be able to service a buffet food line to ensure the highest quality of food is maintained.
Excellent interpersonal, customer service, communication and problem-solving skills.
Must be able to work independently in a fast-pasted environment.
Must be able to speak, write, read and understand English.
