Banner Technical Consultant

This customer-facing role will implement, extend, integrate, and support solutions involving Ethos Integration, Banner Extensibility, Ellucian Experience, Data Connect, Intelligent Processes, Forms, and Banner applications. Client is seeking a Senior Banner Technical Consultant to provide technical leadership, application development, integration, and consulting services across Ellucian Banner and the Ellucian Platform.

Overview

Client is seeking a Senior Banner Technical Consultant to provide technical leadership, application development, integration, and consulting services across Ellucian Banner and the Ellucian Platform. This customer-facing role will implement, extend, integrate, and support solutions involving Ethos Integration, Banner Extensibility, Ellucian Experience, Data Connect, Intelligent Processes, Forms, and Banner applications.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of technical solutions addressing customer business and technology challenges.
• Lead technical discussions concerning the implementation and adoption of Ellucian Platform capabilities and modern Banner solutions.
• Conduct business process reviews, application prototyping, needs assessments, and solution architecture activities.
• Develop, enhance, test, debug, and support applications, integrations, interfaces, reports, custom APIs, and automation processes.
• Design and support integrations using Ethos Integration, Ethos Data Connect, REST APIs, GraphQL, Serverless APIs, and event-driven architecture.
• Develop upgrade-safe Banner Extensibility solutions aligned with customer requirements.
• Configure and implement Ellucian Experience, Ethos, Intelligent Processes, Forms, and related platform technologies.
• Provide technical consultation and support for Banner, Banner Extensibility, Ethos, Experience, Self-Service Banner, Data Connect, and Intelligent Processes.
• Troubleshoot Banner modules and Ellucian Platform services, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Develop proof-of-concepts and technical solutions aligned with customer objectives.
• Prepare requirements, specifications, integration, reporting, installation, operational, and support documentation.
• Provide project leadership, effort estimates, solution planning, and technical guidance.
• Mentor less experienced consultants, review technical deliverables, and promote development best practices.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies

• Advanced technical experience with Ellucian Banner and Ellucian Platform solutions.
• Hands-on application development, integration, extensibility, reporting, and technical support experience.
• Experience with Ethos Integration, Banner Extensibility, Ellucian Experience, Data Connect, Intelligent Processes, Forms, or related Ellucian technologies.
• Experience developing or supporting REST APIs, GraphQL, Serverless APIs, and event-driven integrations.
• Strong programming and technical troubleshooting skills across multiple application tiers.
• Experience leading technical discussions, solution architecture, needs assessments, and customer implementations.
• Ability to prototype, refine, test, debug, and document technical solutions.
• Relevant degree, certification, and experience.

• Onsite in Reston, Virginia.
