    Description

    Job Title: Senior Technical Consultant – Banner Technical Team.
    Department: Seton Hall Universit : 27841
    Location: 100% Remote (US)
    Duration:  3+ months Contract
    We are pleased to share an exciting opportunity for the position of Senior Technical Consultant – Banner Technical Team.
    In this customer-facing technical leadership role, you will leverage your advanced programming expertise and deep understanding of customer business challenges to deliver high-quality consulting and technical services for the Ellucian Managed Services client community.
     
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Design and develop innovative technical solutions to address customer business and technical challenges.
    • Lead implementation and adoption of modern Ellucian Platform technologies, including Ethos Integration, Banner Extensibility, Ellucian Experience, Data Connect, Intelligent Processes, Forms, and Banner applications.
    • Conduct business process reviews, application prototyping, and provide recommendations aligned with Ellucian best practices.
    • Develop, enhance, test, debug, and support applications, integrations, interfaces, reports, APIs, and automation processes.
    • Design and implement integrations using Ethos Integration, REST APIs, GraphQL, Serverless APIs, event-driven architecture, and Ethos Data Connect.
    • Build upgrade-safe Banner Extensibility solutions and configure Ellucian Platform technologies.
    • Troubleshoot technical issues across Banner modules and Ellucian Platform services while providing effective resolutions.
    • Prepare technical documentation, including requirements, specifications, solution designs, installation guides, and operational documentation.
    • Deliver proof-of-concept solutions and ensure successful project implementation.
    • Mentor junior consultants, review technical deliverables, and promote development best practices.
    • Assist with project estimation, technical planning, and solution architecture.
    • Build strong customer relationships while ensuring successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
     
    Required Qualifications:
    • Relevant bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Strong experience with Ellucian Banner and Ellucian Platform technologies.
    • Hands-on experience with Banner Extensibility, Ethos Integration, Experience, Intelligent Processes, Data Connect, Self-Service Banner, and related solutions.
    • Strong programming skills and experience with application development, system integrations, REST APIs, GraphQL, and modern integration technologies.
    • Excellent troubleshooting, technical consulting, communication, and customer-facing skills.
    • Experience leading technical discussions, mentoring team members, and delivering enterprise solutions.
    • Relevant certifications in Ellucian technologies or related platforms are an added advantage.
