SourcePro Search is seeking a Bankruptcy Paralegal to join a team in NYC. This position involves in-depth legal document analysis, drafting, and intensive reading. Candidates should be meticulous, motivated, and eager to learn about asbestos bankruptcy trust companies.

What You'll Do:

• Summarize depositions and conduct thorough document reviews.
• Draft affidavits and letters with precision.
• Review death certificates, estate documents, and pathology reports for accuracy.
• Analyze expert reports and x-rays for asbestos-related disease diagnoses.
• Submit and manage claims, curing deficiencies as needed.
• Communicate with Trusts daily and execute audit requests within deadlines.
• Maintain confidentiality of personal information and manage shifting priorities effectively.

What You'll Bring:

• B.A. in Legal Studies, Political Science, or related experience preferred.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent time management.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Adobe, Word, Excel).
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Affinity for reading and the ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
