This company is expanding its presence in Atlanta and is looking to enhance its Bankruptcy & Financial Restructuring team to support a growing portfolio of creditor-side Chapter 11 cases, distressed M&A, and negotiations. With a strong focus on client-centric solutions, this firm is committed to delivering exceptional results in complex financial scenarios.

    What You Will Do

    • Draft and support pleadings, motions, objections, and related filings in Chapter 11 matters.
    • Analyze creditor rights, liens, priority, adequate protection, and plan treatment.
    • Facilitate negotiations in workouts, forbearances, amendments, and restructuring term sheets.
    • Collaborate with finance teams on credit document interpretation and secured creditor strategy.
    • Assist with contested matters, discovery, and related restructuring litigation.
    • Provide client-ready updates, timelines, and strategy memos to stakeholders.

    Ideal Candidate Background

    • JD and active bar membership required.
    • 2–6+ years of bankruptcy/restructuring experience, with flexibility based on the strength of representations.
    • Strong writing skills with the ability to manage rapid deadlines effectively.
    • Proven experience in creditor-side representation and restructuring negotiations.

    Preferred

    • Familiarity with distressed M&A processes and related litigation.
    • Experience working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
    • Demonstrated ability to coordinate across finance and corporate teams.

    Compensation and Benefits

    The base salary for this role ranges from $225K to $390K, reflecting the candidate's experience and expertise. This company offers a competitive benefits package designed to support the well-being and professional growth of its employees.
