Location: Warren, MI — fully on-site, with additional opportunities potentially available at our Dearborn Heights, Flint, Saginaw, and Ypsilanti offices depending on candidate location and business needs.

Note: Must have an active Michigan Bar license. Candidates should be highly organized, detail oriented, dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable managing a high-volume bankruptcy practice.

Job Description

• Represent clients in consumer bankruptcy matters and guide them through the legal process.
• Manage a high volume of active bankruptcy cases while maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Prepare, review, and file pleadings, petitions, motions, and other legal documents.
• Communicate directly with clients, creditors, courts, and opposing counsel.
• Analyze client financial circumstances and develop effective legal strategies.
• Advocate for clients against banks, creditors, and other parties.
• Maintain accurate case files, deadlines, documentation, and follow-up throughout each matter.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to provide efficient, high-quality representation.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan Bar license required.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage a demanding caseload in a high-volume environment.
• Detail oriented, dependable, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of work.
• Bankruptcy, consumer law, creditors' rights, or related litigation experience is a strong plus.
