Our nationally recognized Bankruptcy & Restructuring Department is seeking a talented Bankruptcy Attorney with at least 2 years of experience to join our team. You’ll work on high-profile Chapter 11 cases, complex restructurings, and distressed transactions across key jurisdictions including New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Texas, and Florida.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent debtors, creditors, and other stakeholders in Chapter 11 and out-of-court restructurings
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery-related documents
  • Appear in court, argue motions, and participate in hearings
  • Manage client relationships and contribute to case strategy
  • Work closely with partners and other team members across offices

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of bankruptcy and restructuring experience
  • Admission to the New York State Bar (required)
  • Strong legal writing and analytical skills
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Litigation experience is a plus, especially in bankruptcy court
