Description

Must-Haves:
  • Active admission to the Georgia bar for State, Federal, and Bankruptcy courts, with CM/ECF filing credentials.
  • Ability to travel to courts throughout Georgia as needed.
Required Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience representing creditors in bankruptcy/insolvency matters.
  • Strong knowledge of secured creditor issues.
  • Excellent multitasking, prioritization, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with teams and senior management.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience collaborating with senior management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Industry Experience:
  • Bankruptcy/insolvency law representing creditors in a law firm or similar setting.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Represent creditors in bankruptcy proceedings.
  • Review notices, correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents.
  • Prepare and respond to written inquiries and disputes.
  • Attend and argue motions and hearings before Georgia courts.
  • Participate in mediation sessions.
  • Advise clients throughout the bankruptcy process.
