    Job Description
     
    What You Will Be Doing
    • Handle a variety of bankruptcy and restructuring matters involving creditors, debtors, and other stakeholders.
    • Represent clients in Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings.
    • Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
    • Prepare and review transactional documents related to bankruptcy and restructuring.
    • Conduct detailed legal research and analyze complex legal and financial issues.
    • Assist partners with case strategy, negotiations, and resolution of bankruptcy matters.
    • Make regular appearances in bankruptcy court and participate in hearings.
    • Communicate directly with clients regarding case status, strategy, and legal issues.
    • Manage case deadlines, filings, and multiple matters simultaneously.
    • Collaborate with partners and attorneys across different practice groups.
    • Participate in business development initiatives as needed.
       
    Experience You Will Need
    • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
    • Admission to practice law in Pennsylvania or eligibility for prompt admission.
    • Prior experience in bankruptcy, restructuring, or commercial litigation strongly preferred.
    • Strong understanding of bankruptcy law and restructuring principles.
    • Experience drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and bankruptcy-related transactional documents.
    • Strong legal research and analytical skills.
    • Ability to analyze financial information, complex legal issues, and case strategy.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to identify, assess, and resolve complex legal issues.
    • Comfortable with court appearances and courtroom advocacy.
    • Ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong attention to detail, professional judgment, ethics, and client-service orientation.
    • Must be comfortable working full-time, on-site in Philadelphia, PA.
