Job Title: Associate Litigation Bankruptcy Attorney
Location: Florida (Bar Admission Required)
Salary: $120,000 – $145,000 per year
Position Overview:
A growing law firm is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with 2–5 years of experience in bankruptcy litigation to join its team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience handling federal bankruptcy litigation matters and a strong foundation in complex legal proceedings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in federal bankruptcy litigation proceedings
- Handle contested matters and adversary proceedings in bankruptcy court
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategies
- Attend hearings, depositions, and court appearances
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex bankruptcy matters
- Manage caseload efficiently while maintaining high-quality work
Qualifications:
- Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar (required)
- 2–5 years of experience in bankruptcy law and litigation
- Proven experience in federal bankruptcy litigation (required)
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience handling adversary proceedings and contested bankruptcy matters
- Familiarity with federal court procedures and rules
