A financial institution is seeking a Quality Control Analyst in Pensacola, Florida or Vienna, Virginia. This role will support quality assurance and regulatory compliance efforts by conducting reviews, identifying process gaps, and helping improve operational effectiveness while mitigating risk.

About the Opportunity:

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: Core hours 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM EST
  • Setting: Hybrid, 3 days onsite per week

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality control reviews of documentation, transactions, and processes to support compliance with internal policies and federal/state regulations
  • Evaluate records for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established quality standards
  • Identify process gaps and root causes related to compliance issues and operational deficiencies
  • Monitor corrective action plans and collaborate with business partners to support remediation efforts
  • Analyze data, maintain quality control records, and support continuous process improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Auditing, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education

    1+ years of experience in quality control, auditing, compliance, banking, lending, or a related field
  • Basic knowledge of banking, lending, or credit union operations and regulatory requirements
  • Experience reviewing documentation and identifying process or compliance issues
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and in a collaborative environment and experience

Desired Skills:

  • Experience supporting regulatory compliance or operational risk management initiatives
  • Familiarity with quality control methodologies or root cause analysis
  • Knowledge of operational risk controls and internal audit practices
  • Experience working within a financial institution or other regulated environment
  • Process improvement mindset with the ability to recommend and support corrective actions
