BAKERY CHEF

• You will lead the creation and development of new bakery products, making sure they deliver great taste, quality, and performance.
• Plan and run plant trials (test production runs) to check if new products work well and can scale up in our manufacturing plant.
• Partner closely with manufacturing teams to troubleshoot and fix any issues during trials.
• Guide products smoothly from small-scale testing to full production.
• Create and update all product paperwork, including vendor info, trial summaries, final specs, ingredient lists, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Keep documentation accurate, current, and compliant with regulations and quality standards.
• Team up with Sales, Quality Assurance, Purchasing, and other departments to align on new product goals.
• Share clear project updates with stakeholders and solve any roadblocks quickly.
• Handle several product development projects at once, hitting deadlines and milestones.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of hands-on commercial baking experience, especially with batter-based products and/or laminated dough products.
• Certification or formal training from the American Institute of Baking (AIB) – highly valued!
• Proven success taking bakery products from idea/concept all the way to full commercial launch.
• Solid knowledge of bakery manufacturing processes.
